Laser peel is currently the most modern method for removing deep wrinkles from the face and neck areas, and has completely replaced previously popular methods such as chemical peel and dermabrasion. However, in addition to removing wrinkles in a much safer, efficient and precise manner, added benefits include the visible skin rejuvenation and improved quality.
Laser peel acts like a ray of light which is concentrated at one point and does not include any radiation. Due to the new ultrapulse laser technology the ray is high-powered and requires a very short exposure time, hence it doesn’t cause any damage to the surrounding tissue and there a clear boundary between the treated and healthy tissue. Also, a mild termo-sensitive effect diminishes the connections between the elastic fibers and stimulates formation of new collagen cells. This results in the skin lifting and rejuvenation, and even scar tissues. The procedure is extremely precise, and there is no possibility of error.
Laser peel removes the superficial layer of dead and aged cells by means of extremely precise evaporation of the layer (approximately 100-150 micron deep). The procedure is repeated up to three times, which means that three layers (a total of 300-450 microns) can be removed from the skin, depending on the part of the face. The procedure and depth of a laser peel are controlled by an optical scanner and are very precise. Due to the termo-sensitive effect, retraction of the skin takes place; this eliminates wrinkles and thus lifts and rejuvenates the skin.
The whole procedure is very simple. Depending on the mode and type of anesthesia, preparation for the intervention is performed in our hospital on the day of the scheduled intervention. The intervention is performed in an outpatient setting. The post-surgical care continues at home, depending on the level and the region where the peel is done. This type of intervention is not recommended during the summer period, and exposure to sun is strictly prohibited.
After a laser peel it can be expected that the majority of the deep wrinkles and all minor wrinkles have been removed from the treated area. The skin gets a rejuvenated appearance, fullness and elasticity. In this way the wrinkles can be removed from the following areas:
Bio-stimulation treatment with blood plasma has been known in medicine for hundreds of years. It is also known as the vampire facelift and PRP (Platelet Rich Plasma) – plasma enriched with platelets. This treatment results in gradual but noticeable improvement in skin texture, tone and quality. The procedure is completely natural, painless, without any risk and gives amazing results. Growth factors (PDGF) found in platelets simulate production of collagen, which is the first aid in correcting the effects of wrinkles.
This procedure is not a surgical facelifting, so it would not be realistic to expect the same results and the recovery is less complex. The procedure is effective in restoring and improving the appearance of skin which has lost its volume and elasticity due to ageing.
PRP treatment can be used for areas such as entire face, neck, chest, back of your hands, acne scars, stretch marks, as well as the crown and scalp to strengthen hair follicles and stimulate the hair growth. The treatment takes about 60 minutes, depending on the region that needs to be treated. Several regions can be treated simultaneously. In order to achieve the best results it is recommended to perform 2 to 3 treatments in the 4 to 6 week intervals. The initial results are visible after 15 to 20 days and the patient can continue with regular activities in a few hours after the treatment. Very often dermaroller is used in combination with PRP method, and it demonstrates excellent results in reducing stretch marks and acnes.
